During the discussions with our client, “Dafni Communications” (a publishing company- member of Antenna Media Group) the re-designing and re-development of their existing “Oikia & Diakosmisi” (that stands for “Home & Decoration”) magazine web site, we have been notified that there were two main axes we should step on: the improvement of the site’s functions and the most accurate and updated information provision to its users. Taking into consideration these rules, the Addit team assigned to run the project designed a user-friendly portal, providing easy access to its content and services. Special attention has been paid to the site navigation and the data placement and organization, in order for the user to realize the site applications’ functioning and usage. Further to the subject categories that have been re-designed and enriched, Addit has also developed a number of innovative services that are a useful tool for both the consumers and the professionals: a registration form has been designed, where each professional may enter his/her data to be accessed by the users through the portal’s search engine. The site has been developed on Addit Content Management System that enables the administrator to update the content in an easy and fast way, send newsletters to the registered users, but also to dynamically interfere in the page editing and formatting.
